1. Crab People!

  2. Finally Tattooing!

So a few years back I splurged and bought myself a little tattooing setup. It seemed like the cool thing to do at the time. As it turned out though, I didnt have the backbone to tattoo real human beings for fear of ruining them forever. So I put it all off for a number of years and finally pulled it out again about two months ago!
Here is what I’ve produced so far, from start.

Lots of my pals were pretty keen from the get go which helped with my confidence. I now have a little cue going on and am tattooing about once or twice a week.
Animals are the theme really, basically, you tell me what you want, and I pretty much get free reign over the design. Each design is unique so it’s a bit time consuming, but uber rewarding!

    Sick!

  3. WOW! FIRST UPDATE IN OVER TWO YEARS! HEEERREE WE GO!

So, a lot has been going on since I last visited. I’ve been travelling around the United States a lot, had an exhibition at the No Vacancy (atrium) space and also been involved in a group exhibition called HALF at the No vacancy QV space. Here are some pictures of the works and opening of the Monster Mash exhibition I did with a talented lad named Piers Redmond (ratshitpie.tumblr.com)

  4. Last post for a while

So I leave for the States in a few days, pretty exciting, hopefully I’ll be doing some pasting while I’m over there!

Here’s a thing I did for a Geelong band ‘The Infants’

Here’s a tattoo design I made for my brother

  5. I bought a tattoo machine a little while ago, I haven’t been ballsy enough to tattoo any real people yet, just inanimate objects. Still got lots of research and practice to go but this is some mucking around I’ve done

  6. Bit of a catch up:

  7. Merry Christmas

Some festive Christmas cards I made for people I like

  8. Hairy Mutated Hands

Are going to be all the rage, especially in the neck decoration department. This is a new necklace design, with a bunch more to follow hopefully

  9. Feeding Time

This is a design for a T shirt I recently finished. Took me a while but I got there, keep your eeeeeyyyyyyyyyyeeeesssss peeeeeeeellled

  10. The Debutant Kid

This is a flyer I designed for a friends band. Ill most likely turn the image into a pasteup

I think that after the copious amounts of extra time I spent on this ‘new and improved’ version…I might prefer the simpler one.

    Goddamn

  11. False Hope

Been through a hugely lazy patch lately.

This seems to have been saved by a new source of motivation, I’ve been doing paste-ups of large (A0) photocopies of my drawings with some friends. ITS REALLY FUN! This is an idea I’ve been working on late this evening but have to stop because I need to go to bed in order to wake up in time for work in the morning. I’M EXCITED TO FINISH THOUGH. FIIIIINNNNNAAAAAALLLLLY! Imagine that on your local building wall. YES!

  12. Well, things can only get better.

Ha! Tonight I was feeling a bit wreckless and after getting home pretty late decided a bit of graffiti experimentation was just the pickmeup I deserved.

So I was not toooo enthusiastic about putting this up cause its not too impressive, but its my first attempt at ‘street art’ and supposed that it was worth a post for that reason. I feel bad about ruining buildings with novice spraywork but hey! You gotta start somewhere. It’s just too bad that it didn’t pick-me-up as much as I’d hoped…and it wasn’t as thrilling as I’d hoped too. ILL STOP WHINING NOW OK.
